A CHAUFFEUR company has invested £700,000 in a new fleet aimed at providing luxury transport. Executive private hire firm Chauffeurcar has taken on six new Renault Espace 3.0 dCis following a test drive to assess their quality.

A key reason for opting for the Renault fleet was its performance in the Euro NCAP crash tests, where it scored the maximum five stars. The cars, painted in midnight blue, will be used to fill a gap between the minicab and limousine market.

Roy Kent, managing director at Chauffeurcar, said: 'We were looking for a vehicle that would emphasise our modern approach, as well as provide safety, quality and luxury for our passengers.'

Drivers with Chauffeurcar are all fully-qualified members of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and fully security vetted.
