Kia choice for police patrols

WILTSHIRE Police Force has taken on a 3.5-litre V6 Kia Sorento as part of its traffic unit, using the vehicle in duties ranging from motorway accidents to VIP protection runs.

Fleet and services manager Steve Botham said: ‘The Sorento is operational 24-hours a day, seven days a week. It provides the force with a high-visibility patrol car that can withstand long hours of motorway driving but when necessary overcome rural conditions in the toughest police environment.’
