Star car and what its’ worth

STAR CAR

CAR: 2000X Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 GSi 5dr
MILEAGE: 68,949
WHERE SOLD: BCA Belle Vue
HOW MUCH: £5,350
% of CAP: 119.5%

BACKGROUND: Strong bidding saw the value soar for this Vectra entered direct from the major fleet operator. An ex-management car, it boasted a good specification including alloy wheels, aircon, driver and passenger airbags, power assisted steering and ABS and stereo with CD autochanger. It had chrome door handles, Recaro seats and leather four spoke steering wheel.

With the 2.5 V6 developing 195bhp and the Irmscher rear spoiler, this model offered plenty of performance and was highly desirable. Sold earlier this month in a specially branded section on behalf of the vendor, the car had been pre-sale prepared to Smart Retail standard.
