RAC is to provide a range of accident management services including claims management, managing repair costs and downtime and providing administrative support.
The service will cover Speedy Hire's 1,300-strong fleet and the group is hoping to reduce handling times, costs and vehicle turnarounds.
Ian Leonard, fleet manager at Speedy Hire, said: 'In the past, our vehicles were off the road for too long and the last thing I needed was a company that would take three weeks to tell me they couldn't find a repairer.
'With RAC on board, we get a wide-ranging, A-Z service that can take care of all vehicles and quickly. I know that I will recoup my costs in reduced downtimes.'
