Hagemeyer plugs in to LDV deal

LDV has won a £2 million deal to supply 100 vans to Hagemeyer's electrical distribution companies.

As part of the three-year deal, LDV will replace the 100 3.5-tonne Convoys with new models in 2005 and the vehicles will be used by its electrical distribution companies Newey & Eyre, WF and Parker Merchanting.

LDV will supply the vehicles with livery and a unique load lining system designed to Hagemeyer's specifications, which will enable its drivers to carry four-metre length conduit and trunking. Kevin Childs, national accounts manager, LDV, said: 'In this case, the order was placed and the vehicles built and delivered within four weeks.'
