The latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • DAILY rental group Nexus Vehicle Management has appointed Martin Evans as operations director following recent expansion. Evans will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the rental system and team. He has several years' experience gained in the rental industry.

  • Nissan Motor (GB) has announced the appointment of Bill Bosley as its managing director to replace Brian Carolin, who is moving to Nissan Europe in Paris. Bosley joins from Nissan North America, where he was vice president of aftersales.

    He joined Nissan in 1981 as district service manager, then held a variety of positions over the next 23 years, including vice-president of the Infiniti West region and of the south-east region. His predecessor moves to Nissan Europe after eight years' service at NMGB to become vice president, sales operations.

  • Helphire Group has appointed Maurice Power as national sales manager. Power joined Helphire in 1996 in north London, was promoted to regional sales manager for the Midlands in 1999 and in 2001, following company restructuring, managed the sales team in the east of the country.
    Prior to joining Helphire, he worked in field sales for several blue chip organisations. Power succeeds John Glyn Davies, who is retiring after almost ten years with the company.

  • LEX Transfleet has appointed Andy Hobart as managing director. He was closely involved in the company's strategy over the past few years while working as group managing director of Lex Industrial Solutions. Lex plans further restructuring after feedback from customers in the industry.

  • ABS Accident Solutions has appointed Kevin Hesketh as technical services advisor.
    Providing part-time assistance to the technical services manager, he will help with the expansion of the technical services department. He has previously held roles of technical services manager and national network manager with the company.

  • PEUGEOT has appointed two new regional fleet sales managers. Colin Tullock and Ed Slattery will head up the north and south UK sales teams of four fleet sales managers with the aim of nurturing business from companies with a fleet size of 100 or more.
    Tullock joined Peugeot in 1988, having previously worked for a number of car dealerships in the north. Slattery joined Peugeot 13 years ago.
