COCA-COLA Enterprises has awarded HSBC Vehicle Finance the contract as sole UK fleet supplier.

The company said this was due in part to its award-winning internet-based fleet ordering and selection system, HSBC DriverQuote.

The deal will see HSBC supply and service the entire 1,750 CCE fleet of cars and light commercial vehicles.

CCE fleet manager Tom Sayer said: 'HSBC DriverQuote has given a clear advantage to our drivers in selecting and ordering their company cars. It contains all the vehicle specification, taxation, optional extras and financial limits within our policy.

'Using DriverQuote also sends a strong message about our organisation, and our willingness to embrace the internet. We look forward to continuing to work with HSBC to take further advantage of their technology led developments.'

Malcolm Topping, head of sales at HSBC Vehicle Finance, said: 'It's great to see our award-winning technology translate into tangible benefits for customers. DriverQuote and associated innovations in fleet management played a significant part in securing our contract with CCE, and we are delighted to be strengthening the long, successful relationship that we have built with the company over the last 12 years. We have a great deal more to offer through our technology, and CCE will continue to benefit from this as our partnership continues.'

HSBC has been a supplier to CCE since 1991 and, in 2002, it was one of the first companies to receive HSBC DriverQuote. The comprehensive tender review of its fleet requirements involved e-submissions from the top 10 UK leasing companies and was managed by Wim Schellekens, CCE European procurement manager and Sayer.
