£4m Black Horse site

BRITAIN'S biggest leasing company, Lloyds TSB autolease, has opened a new sales channel for returned lease cars by investing £4 million in a new retail site in the West Midlands.

Black Horse Car Sales, based at Oldbury, can house up to 600 used cars at any time. Each car is detailed and photographed on the group's website, www.blackhorsecarsales.co.uk, enabling customers to view vehicles before visiting.

The site is the first of a new generation of retail sites aimed at creating a massive retail sales environment, the company said.

Glen Sturley, head of sales at Black Horse Car Sales, said: 'It is exciting to be involved with an innovative national financial institution that now only wants to inject quality of choice, low prices and trust into purchasing a used car, but is prepared to put its name to this new venture.'
