The latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • SHEFFIELD-based Audi retailer Peter Guilder has created a new customer relations team. Michelle Lewis, previously a sales executive, and David Harmsworth, formerly workshop controller, will work on the new team. Lewis will be the first point of contact for customers with queries or technical problems. Harmsworth brings with him 17 years' experience as a workshop technician.

  • MONDIAL has made two new appointments to its warranty team. Stuart Randall and Dale Murphy have both been promoted to warranty account managers, reporting to Simon Cook, the group's head of warranty and service programmes. Mondial has also created new sales teams and eight new regional sales manager roles which will support the sales development teams. Additional appointments include Liz Grindall as Volkswagen Group warranty manager and Ian Burchette as Volkswagen Group warranty claims manager.

  • NICK Auld has joined Custom Fleet as trade services manager responsible for roles such as pricing, disposals, vehicle acquisition, maintenance and daily rental. Auld previously worked at Dutch-based leasing group Arma and had been there since 2000. Prior to that, he was at Fleetlease for eight years, most recently as pricing manager. Auld is a member of the Institute of the Motor Industry, the Institute of Car Fleet Management and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

  • VEHICLE information provider HPI has appointed Philip Graf as its new chairman. Graf was formerly chief executive officer at newspaper group Trinity Mirror and has several years' experience gained in managerial roles. He will help develop the group's new stock management system.

  • ZENITH Vehicle Contracts has appointed Howard Poulson as non-executive chairman following a management buyout of the Leeds-based company. Poulson has several years' business experience with former roles including chairman of Dutton Forshaw Group, a car dealership, and chief executive at Premier Farnell. Poulson is also a fellow of the Institute of Directors and plans to develop the future direction of Zenith in his new role.

  • GRAHAM Hubbard has been promoted to commercial director at fleet solutions company Jet Logistics. Formerly at Arriva, Hubbard brings several years' experience gained in dealership, refurbishment and operations management. He will oversee the development of all sales and marketing initiatives in his new role, focusing on customer service programmes and developing the remarketing team.
