The service has a total fleet of almost 500 vehicles used by paramedics and this is the first time Toyotas have joined the line-up.
EMAS fleet manager Andrew Potter said: 'The vehicles will be deployed across the East Midlands area and used off-road in the Peak District, Sherwood Forest, at sports grounds and so on.'
