A CONTRACT hire to daily rental specialist that was started in a disused pub has celebrated 30 years in business.

Newtown Vehicle Rentals was founded by Wyn Davies to initially provide rental cars, but has since expanded into the contract hire and leasing sector.
Last year, it was listed in 42nd place in the Fleet News FN50, the list of Britain's biggest contract hire and leasing companies.
It now has more than 5,000 vehicles on its fleet and saw profits more than double to £2.5 million last year, with high expectations for a 30% lift in profits over the next year.
Newtown was given its name because it was launched in Redditch, itself a new town.
It has 145 staff, with Wyn Davies now chairman and Philip Brindle as managing director.
