Europe move for Murano

NISSAN has confirmed that the four wheel-drive Murano (pictured) shown at the Geneva Motor Show this year is to go into production for Europe.

The Murano is the size of a BMW X5 and will be powered by the 3.5-litre V6 from the 350Z. The model is currently selling 5,000 units a month in the US, where it has already been launched.

Murano gets its own automatic transmission, Xtronic, with a selectable manual mode and electronic four-wheel drive.
