CHRYSLER has confirmed it will launch a high-performance version of the Crossfire and Crossfire Roadster and is on the verge of agreeing to import right-hand drive versions of the PT Cruiser Convertible.

The supercharged 3.2-litre V6 version of the Crossfire was previewed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but the company has now confirmed it will be coming to the UK in right-hand drive versions later this year. Developing 330bhp, the Crossfire SRT-6 should offer significantly higher performance than the normally-aspirated version currently on sale.

Meanwhile, the PT Cruiser Convertible is likely to come to the UK in right-hand drive variants as Chrysler executives now feel that right-hooker volumes of the PT Cruiser justify making the alterations.
