Redditch-based Newtown Vehicle Rentals, one of the UK's largest privately-owned vehicle hire specialists, is investing in a new 300-vehicle fleet as part of new business deals for customers ranging from TNT to Business Post and Amey Fleet Services.
It will take on more than 300 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans worth more than £6 million at showroom prices.
The vans will be delivered to its fleet customers and also be used for the firm's own daily rental fleet.
The 311 CDI Sprinters are being sourced through Mercedes dealer Mudie Bond.
Newtown, which celebrates 30 years in business this year, offers services ranging from daily rental to contract hire.
