BUDWEISER Europe has taken on a fleet of brightly-coloured new vehicles which could soon become a common sight in towns and cities across the UK.

The company opted for seven new Cherokees provided by Chrysler Group and Weybridge Automobiles, based in Surrey.

They will be used by the group's promotions team to provide games to pubs and clubs as well as carrying point-of-sale materials – and to deliver beer if outlets are running out of stock.

Mikol Curteis, Budweiser Europe buyer for shared services, said: 'Being a US beer, we wanted to keep the US theme consistent, which the Jeep brand helps us to do, and we have also been extremely happy with the Cherokee on its own merits. The volume capacity was a major factor in our decision and we design all of our equipment which needs to be carried to perfectly fit the interior of the Cherokee.'
