Latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • ROBERT Goldwater has been appointed sales director at Masternaut. Goldwater has more than 30 years’ experience in fleet management and will be responsible for managing the Masternaut sales team. He spent many years in general management before joining Masternaut two years ago. He also has experience in business development.

  • LEX Transfleet has made two board-level appointments with Sheryl Tye joining as finance and commercial director and Dave Tams as human resources director. Tye joins from Microlease, where she was finance director for three years, responsible for acquisitions and commercial negotiations for large contracts. Tams joins from BAE systems, where he was HR director for the Aerostructures business. As part of his new role Tams will review Lex Transfleet’s operating model and will work with the business units on the group’s colleague satisfaction survey.

  • RICHARD Issitt has joined van-racking group Bri-Stor Systems as sales and marketing manager. Issitt joins after seven years with another van racking company where he was national sales and marketing manager. Prior to this, he worked in manage-ment roles in the motor industry with both dealers and vehicle manufactures. In his new role he will be responsible for the UK sales and marketing team.

  • CAR rental group Alliance Asset Management has recruited Mark Boyd as financial controller. Boyd will be responsible for managing fleet funding lines alongside developing the group’s business. This will include the accounts and legal side of the Alliance business. He joins from Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, where he worked in the audit and business advisory services for corporate and financial services as well as business recovery.

  • HI-Q TYRE Services has appointed Naithan Keeping as fleet director responsible for the group’s fleet team. In his new role he will be responsible for developing new partnerships with UK car fleets. Keeping has seven years’ experience in fleet tyre management with Michelin and Kwik-Fit and joins Hi-Q from ATS, where he was fleet sales director.

  • DAVID Millier, a fleet management specialist, has been recruited to head the operations team at Hitachi Capital Commercial Vehicle Services. Millier will be responsible for co-ordinating the company’s workshops and liaising with its network of repairs and service agents. He joins from Motability, where he spent four years in Bristol supervising its fleet. He has also run a national repair line for a UK manufacturer.
