New NAPFM chairman scoots in

WILTSHIRE Police fleet manager Steve Botham is the new chairman of the National Association of Police Fleet Managers (NAPFM).

He took over at the end of last week’s NAPFM conference in Swindon.

The event featured a conference and exhibition, where Botham tried out an electric scooter used by German police. The Peugeot 407, the new Astra and the Mitsubishi Evolution VIII were among vehicles featured in police livery.

Delegates were warned at the conference that they needed to better concentrate on health and safety issues.
