FLEETS have been assured it is ‘business as usual’ from Jaguar despite the major restructuring of the business, including shifting production from one factory to another.

To prove its commitment, the manufacturer has also revealed details of new products that include an all-aluminium XK sports car and the strengthening of the XJ range with a premium diesel engine saloon in Europe.

Last week, the company announced car production was to end at Jaguar’s Brown’s Lane factory in Coventry, as part of streamlining that will see about 1,100 jobs being lost.

A spokesman said: ‘The news will have no effect on fleets, with regards to deliveries and other services.’
