MANCHESTER United Football Club has revamped its fleet operation and switched from outright purchase to contract hire.
It operates a fleet of about 55 cars as well as a small number of commercial vehicles and has awarded a contract to Volkswagen Group Leasing.
The club will now introduce an exclusive full maintenance contract hire arrangement over three years/45,000 miles to supply Audi models from across the range. Anthony Lawler, head of human resources at the club, said: ‘We introduced this new arrangement to allow us to free up back office time and concentrate on core activities of the club.’
