MEMBERS of the Scottish region of ACFO gave a rousing send-off to regional chairman Douglas Sutherland.

Sutherland, partner – special projects, at DM Hall & Son, in Edinburgh, has spent five years as chairman, out of six years as a member of the fleet managers’ association. He said: ‘I am stepping down because I am retiring at work and I believe the chairman should be actively involved in fleet management. I also believe I have been doing it for long enough.’

Interviews will take place for a new chairman shortly and a replacement will be announced before the next Scottish ACFO meeting.
