SUBARU has announced that all its cars are to come with three years’ free servicing as part of an aggressive new sales drive.

The offer, which runs from February 1 to April 30 and covers the entire Impreza, Forester, Legacy and Outback line-up, could save fleets more than £1,000 over three-years/36,000-miles. It covers the first three services, with labour free of charge. A Subaru spokesman said: ‘This and other initiatives are aimed at increasing Subaru sales from last year’s 8,823 units to around 11,000 cars.’

  • Hyundai has also announced a free servicing offer from February 1. The Matrix 1.6 SE mini-MPV now has three years’ free servicing, as well as about £2,000 worth of extra equipment as standard. The car now costs £10,995.
