Menu prices tabled

ONE TECHNOLOGY group is predicting that more than 80% of fleet vehicles will be covered by ‘menu pricing’ within the next two months.

Menu pricing means that maintenance services provided to fleets are charged by a fixed price rather than by the hour. The 1link Service Network believes a surge in ‘menu pricing’ will mean more predictability for fleets.

Ken Trinder, head of business development at epyx, the group behind 1link, said: ‘Now, manufacturers have been able to put menu pricing in place for hundreds, even thousands, of maintenance tasks that are carried out on fleet vehicles every day.’
