AUCTION giant BCA and dealer group Hartwell have celebrated 21 years in partnership during which the team has sold an estimated £735 million worth of vehicles.

A series of special events held at four BCA centres last month included spot prizes and incentives to mark the relationship that began in 1984. Since then, Hartwell has sold an average of 10,000 cars a year through BCA, with an estimated sale price of £3,500 each.

The celebration week added to the massive sale tally, with 250 vehicles sold for an 83% conversion rate across the four sales and a turnover approaching £750,000.

Stephen Whitlock, Hartwell’s head of group used vehicle purchasing, said: ‘This is a significant milestone in any commercial relationship and we are delighted to be celebrating this achievement with BCA.’
