LCV demand grows in February

19,297 commercial vehicles were sold in February, 8.5% up on 2004, according to Society of Motor Manufacturer and Traders' figures. Light commercial vehicles rose to 15,523, an 8.7% increase.

Alan Pulham, franchised dealer director for the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) said: 'If these vehicles are needed, the economic outlook is very encouraging.'
