Managers move up the Zenith ladder

FLEET management group Zenith Vehicle Contracts has promoted two of its managers to new roles. Max Turner, formerly implementation and project manager, has been appointed customer services manager. He will be in charge of the management of accounts and the company’s relationship with its customer base. Tony Greig, previously an account manager, has been appointed marketing executive looking after the management of the prospective and current customer database and formulating campaign strategies to increase brand awareness. Turner and Greig have been at Zenith for more than five years and are both in the final year of a company-sponsored MBA course.

  • GRAHAM Moore has been appointed UK and Ireland network manager at Europ Assistance. He will be responsible for the existing network of breakdown and recovery operators and setting up new contracts. Moore has 29 years’ experience gained in the industry at senior board level positions and was recently awarded a fellowship from the Institute of Vehicle Recovery.

  • GEORGE Gibbons has joined FMG Support as operations manager for its roadside repair and recovery management team. Gibbons joins from the AA, where he spent 21 years in the operations department. In the new role he will be responsible for managing the service delivery process including overseeing the group’s suppliers.

  • HERTZ has strengthened its European marketing team with two new appointments. Marta Saban joins as marketing analyst and Rhys Jarvis joins as head of online marketing strategy. Saban will look after developing markets and competitor intelligence for marketing initiatives. Jarvis will be responsible for developing Hertz’s search marketing and defining the online customer experience.

  • RAC Auto Windscreens has made two new appointments to its insurance team as Sara Stainsby and Mark Welthy join the group. Stainsby joins from ALD Automotive, where she was responsible for new business and joins RAC Auto Windscreens as national sales manager. She will be responsible for the development of new business within the insurance sector as well as developing relationships with existing customers. Welthy joins as client manager, bringing more than 20 years’ experience, having previously worked at Churchill, KGM Motor Policies and Equity Red Star.

  • NATIONAL Car Rental has appointed Lisa Bovio as director of international accounts for France, Italy and Spain. Bovio will in charge of all pan-European contracts negotiated in the three markets. She brings more than 14 years’ sales and marketing experience and is fluent in five languages. Before joining National, she was executive director of corporate services at Goldman Sachs.
