THIRD party driver support is to be provided to the 9,000-strong British Gas commercial fleet by All Fleet Services.

The call centre provider was chosen to provide the service by Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, which manages the vehicles on behalf of Centrica.

British Gas engineers use the vehicles to carry out service, maintenance and repair work. All Fleet Services will now handle all frontline service booking, maintenance and repair calls. Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions managing director Simon Oliphant said: ‘Driver support is absolutely critical to minimise vehicle off-road time and support the efficient running of its business.’
