FROGRENTALS.com is a neat and tidy site for the company specialising in commercial vehicle hire.

The homepage is well laid out and clear with a side menu to the left linking to the five different sections of the site.

There isn’t anything flashy about this site, but everything is designed with clean lines and clear images. The green colour scheme suits the company title and logo.

If you click on the ‘van range’ link you will be taken to a list of five Vauxhall commercial vehicles, each with a picture and loadspace specifications. You can request more information or a quote by filling in an online form. This only takes a few minutes and Frog Vehicle Rentals will aim to get back to you within 42 hours.

There were no other manufacturer types available on the ‘van range’ but you can ring or email Frog Vehicle Rental to enquire about other vehicles available, including lutons, tippers and minibuses.

All the vehicles can be supplied through the site with or without insurance cover for any period from one day upwards. All of the vehicles carry a manufacturer warranty and are covered for breakdown and recovery.

Long term and daily rentals can be arranged by emailing the company. Other than filling out an online form to receive a quote by email, there are no other interactive features on the site. You can’t book online, which is essential if you are offering something for sale on the web.

Everything works smoothly and navigating through the site was a breeze, but this was mainly down to the vastness of unused space throughout the site. It was impossible to become lost or confused because there are few features on the site to get lost in.

Despite my criticism, this site does offer a specialised knowledge of commercial vehicle rental and would be the place to go for van hire, but compared to other rental sites, it doesn’t hold up.

The lowdown:

The site: www.frogrentals.com

We like: Simplistic, easy-to-use, clean design

We don’t like: Unused space, lack of interactive features
