New BMW centre

CONSTRUCTION work has started on a new purpose-built £17 million BMW Group Academy near Reading.

The centre, which will be used for training and development, is set to open in 2006 and will provide technical and non-technical training for the BMW, MINI and motorcycle dealer networks.

The new site will have a workshop with 32 bays, 25 training rooms and a showroom. There will also be an apprentice training area with accommodation facilities and clubhouse.
