Prestige profit

PRESTIGE credit hire and accident management provider Accident Exchange has posted year-end profits of £7.4 million on a turnover of £21.7 million.

It has also signalled its intention to maintain its rapid ascent by making available 3.5 million new ordinary shares to raise £7.7 million.

Chief executive Steve Evans said this would allow it to respond to acquisition opportunities arising as the credit hire marketplace consolidates.
