Safety week aims at kids

FLEETS are being urged to support National Road Safety Week, an annual event that aims to tackle deaths and injuries on the roads.

This year’s theme is ‘Watch out there’s a kid about!’ as a child is killed or injured on UK roads every 16 minutes.

Companies taking part are encouraged to run educational initiatives for their employees, launch year-round driver safety schemes or work with local communities to improve road safety for local children and families.
