LATEST appointments in the fleet industry.

  • BOB Booth has joined north-east based car dealership group SG Petch to manage its fleet business. He brings with him 11 years of industry experience and has worked with Citroen, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Vauxhall. SG Petch has seven sites and holds 10 franchises in and around Darlington, Durham and Middlesbrough.

  • HIRE firm Leaseway has made two new appointments. Claire Mungavin brings five years’ experience from rival TLS to the Glasgow depot. She will work under the direction of fleet engineer Pat Kelly. Kathleen Walker also arrives from TLS and will take on the position of rental supervisor.

  • GARY Beckwith has joined Honda UK as corporate sales manager for the West Midlands. Beckwith previously worked with GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services and HSBC Vehicle Finance and has more than 18 years of industry experience.

  • VEHICLE hire firm 1car1 has re-structured and expanded its corporate business team in response to growing demand within the sector. Heading the team are national sales and marketing manager Jon Oxbury, regional manager Brian Parker and operations manager Chris Baker.

    Other appointments include corporate account developer James McMullan, who will lead a team handling business enquiries at 1car1’s head office in Leeds. Regional support has been strengthened with the addition of sales managers John McDougall (Scottish and Borders), Mandy Satchell (South West) and Harvey Murray (Midlands).

  • FLEET software firm cfc solutions has restructured its sales section. The department now comprises four teams – Fleet North, Fleet South, Public Sector Fleets and Leasing Fleets. The teams will be led by territory managers Dale Fullerton, Richard Evans, Jon Tandy and Andy Leech, supported by account managers and sales co-ordinators. The changes come as cfc prepares to launch a series of new packages at the end of this year.
