FLEET News is the only fleet publication to be audited twice a year and has a new audit statement for the period of January-December 2005.

The statement shows that year-on-year Fleet News has increased its circulation quality with the age of requests moving from 77% (13975) to more than 85% (15329) in year one.

Sister-title AM has also published a new audit statement for the period January-December 2005 that again shows an increase in its circulation quality. The main highlight is the age of requests moving from 79% (15500) to more than 84% (16507) in year one.

For both titles this proves that we continue to invest heavily in delivering the freshest quality information on circulation to our advertisers, and we maintain our market leading positions in our respective markets.

Simon Howard, publishing director for both titles, said: ‘These audits show that we have extended our leadership again in the fleet and automotive retailing B2B markets. We continue to invest heavily in delivering the highest quality circulation for our clients. These markets have high turnover of staff, so we re-register our reader base constantly to keep up-to-date. This ensures our client’s messages are well targeted to current decision-makers in the right job roles with purchasing and/or specification responsibility.’

Emma Jackson, media buyer/planner, JJ Marketing said: ‘Coordinating a multi dealer listing over a series of months in a publication can sometimes be a complicated job. The communication and organisation on Fleet News' behalf has made this very easy over the past 4 years that we have been dealing with them. The Volvo dealerships have continued to re-book listings year after year which is obviously testament to it working well for them.’

David Ford, managing director MTS Services Group Ltd, said: ‘AM produces quality responses each and every time we place an advertisement on behalf of our clients - we would have no hesitation in recommending AM to other companies involved in the automotive industry.’

* - ‘Requested circulation’ includes registered copies and subscribers, i.e. they have all requested a regular copy of the publication. Both of Emap Automotive’s latest B2B audits have a considerably higher quality circulation than their competition. For more information please email tom.nichols@emap.com. For the purpose of this article please note the competitors are Fleet Week, Fleet Management, Fleet World, Company Car for Fleet News and for AM they are Motor Trader, Aftermarket, Car & Accessory Trader, Motor Industry Magazine and Bodyshop magazine.
