NISSAN has introduced a new range-topping Micra.

Available in hatchback and C+C coupe/convertible bodystyles, the Active Luxury comes with pearl and copper colour themes, Alcantara sports seats and nappa leather. Prices start at £10,995.

The new trim level fits above Sport in the three and five-door hatchback line-up and Essenza in the C+C. Including automatics, there are seven Micra Active Luxury models available with a choice of two petrol engines, 1.4-litre (88PS) and 1.6-litre (110PS), and one diesel engine, 1.5-litre dCi (86PS) which is only offered on the hatchback. Automatic transmission can be teamed with the 1.4-litre on the hatchback or 1.6-litre on the C+C.

Outside differentiators include polished 16-inch alloy wheels (C+C 1.6 automatic comes with 15-inch alloy wheels), chromed headlights and a paint shade called Porcelain or Nero Black. Both paint choices are metallic. The Active Luxury also gets the Sport design deeper bumpers, side sill and rear spoilers as well as front fog lights with body coloured mirrors and door handles.
