ALD Automotive goes Baltic

HUNDREDS of fleets in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will have their fleet management delivered by ALD Automotive, following a move by Nordea Finance to transfer its fleet management operations in those countries to ALD.

As a result, Nordea Finance is now a minority shareholder in ALD Automotive companies in the three Baltic states.

Kaupo Luhaaar, head of Baltic operations in Nordea Finance said: ‘The demand for fleet management services is increasing rapidly in the region and teaming up with a successful partner like ALD means that this demand can be met in the best possible way.’

And Tim Albertsen, senior vice-president at ALD International, said: ‘This co-operation is a continuation of ALD Automotive’s global strategy to enter into partnerships with strong local partners.’
