Fleet News

Fleet careers: how are you settling in?

SCOTT Pearson, public sector account manager cfc solutions.

What have the first six months in your new role been like?

Fast-paced and very informative. I spent the initial few months mentoring and training for the job.

What’s the first thing you did at work this morning?

I had a local appointment this morning and arrived back at the office in good time to catch up with emails and paperwork.

Is yours a typical nine-to-five role?

Not at all. I have to be very flexible as I have customers all over the UK. Organisation and planning are essential in my job.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

Meeting customers and ensuring they are happy.

What was the first job you had after school?

I worked in the keyboard and technology department of a music shop. As music has always been a passion of mine, I was in heaven as I got to mess about with the cutting-edge technology of its time for a job.

What motivates you in the morning?

Strong coffee, clear roads and sunshine. At least I get one out of three.

Where’s your favourite holiday destination?

Greece, more for its culture and hospitality than for its beaches.
