ALD grows market share

ALD Automotive Luxembourg has grown its fleet by 1,150 vehicles by taking over the operational leasing business of Locarlux SA. The acquisition gives the company a fleet of 5,300 vehicles and a market share of 24%.

Locarlux’s 47 employees have transferred to ALD under the deal. In a separate announcement, ALD Automotive said it can now help European customers looking for a fleet management partner in the US after acquiring Ultea, the leasing company belonging to Heartland Financial USA.
