SEAT’S range-topping hot Leon, the Cupra, will be priced from £19,595 when sales begin in March.

Offering 240bhp from its turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, the Cupra is the most powerful SEAT to date and will come with bi-xenon headlights, adaptive front lights, 18-inch alloys and sports bodystyling.

Along with the less powerful FR models, the two sporty cars will account for more than 40% of Leon sales in the UK. User-choosers will be a key market and fleets are expected to account for between 40-50% of Cupra sales and 60% of FR sales.
