You have been in your role for almost four months. What has been the highlight of your time so far?
Realising that there is huge potential for Mazda in the fleet marketplace.

Have you heard any interesting stories from fleet managers?
Having been on a couple of relationship events with a number of fleet managers, I’m not sure that it would be legal to relate some of the stories that I’ve heard!

What’s the best part about working in the fleet industry?
That’s an easy one. As a long-time retail guy, it’s been great fun learning about the complexities of the fleet arena. It’s all new to me.

  Have you always worked in the motor industry?
Virtually – 10 years at Honda UK in all product areas, and now heading for 10 years with Mazda.

  How is the industry changing?
We have more detailed, real time information available than ever before. If managers can exploit the data captured within company systems there are plenty of opportunities out there in the marketplace.
