RENAULT has completed its 10,000th crash test at its technical centre in France.

Opened in 1951, its Lardy Technical Centre in the Paris region has seen more than 100,000 videos and 500,000 photos taken of crashes, with more than one million measurements being analysed.

Its Laguna was the first model to achieve a five-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash tests in March 2001.
