Rental firm seeks star role in film industry

SOME of the world’s best-known actors will soon be climbing into rental cars supplied to the film industry by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The company has launched a new service to provide rental vehicles to the entertainment industry.

Enterprise Entertainment will work with production companies throughout the UK supplying vehicles used to ferry crew and actors to and from locations and to carry equipment.

General manager Chris Adams said: ‘The entertainment industry is unique in the demands it places on rental companies. It is not simply that they expect a fast, efficient service, any time, anywhere. They will often make unusual and seemingly impossible requests at very short notice.’

Adams added: ‘We are fully aware of the unusual requests that may be thrown up at short notice and the need to be flexible and dedicated. The team is ready for anything – if a production company wants 150 black mid-range cars within 48 hours, then our team will be able to handle such a request.’
