CITROEN is offering fleet customers a special fully-loaded version of the C5 range priced from just £15,095.

The VTX+, available in hatchback and estate versions, includes colour screen satellite navigation, metallic paint, alloy wheels, cruise control and a hands-free mobile telephone with voice control as standard. Citroen claims that with the equipment fitted the VTX+ represents a saving of between £3,000 and £4,000 on similarly-specified rivals.

Power comes from the 1.6-litre HDi turbodiesel engine, offering 110bhp and CO2 emissions of 142g/km, placing it in the lowest company car tax band for Euro IV-compliant diesels.

Ian Hughes, Citroen’s head of corporate sales, said: ‘This model and its pricing strategy is specifically aimed at fleet and business customers. The VTX+ offers unrivalled value for money with an outstandingly high level of standard equipment.’
