THE AA has given itself a new image by redesigning the livery seen on its fleet of patrol vehicles.

The new design features the AA logo over the side of the vans, but as well as giving a new look also improves safety – the logo has been made reflective to increase visibility at night.

Director of road operations Steve Dewey said: ‘The risk of accidents doubles during the hours of darkness so anything we can do to protect members and patrols from oncoming traffic has to be a good thing.’

The introduction of the new livery coincided with a new fleet deal with Renault.

The AA decided to use a Trafic van to launch its new look and has so far ordered 200 new vans and cars for its fleet.
