Volvo reveals S80 prices

VOLVO has announced prices for its forthcoming flagship model, the S80.

The new-look car will start at £24,375 for the base-level 200bhp 2.5T S. For diesel buyers, the 163bhp 2.4D starts at £24,400.

The new six-cylinder, 238bhp 3.2 petrol Geartronic model starts at £30,955 for the SE model, rising to £33,705 for the SE Sport.

The 185bhp manual D5 diesel SE starts at £28,050, while the SE Sport tops the scale at £30,800.

The big news for petrolheads is the new V8 engine, feeding 315bhp to all four wheels.

The SE will be £38,975, while the most expensive S80 available, the V8 SE Sport, will cost £41,725.

The car is due to go on sale in July.
