CANNON Hygiene has signed a management deal with vehicle tracking firm Quartix to cover its fleet of more than 900 vehicles.

Cannon hopes the deal will increase fleet efficiency and strengthen customer service.

Since the contract was agreed, 500 tracking units have been installed and already productivity has increased, the firm claims. The units also help with duty of care responsibilities.

Andy Walters, managing director of Quartix, said: ‘We are delighted to have won this prestigious contract with such a well-respected service company.

‘The working relationship with Cannon has been excellent so far, and we hope to continue providing this service to them for many years to come.’
