  • FLEET software firm Jaama has welcomed Niel Corns as a software developer. After graduating from Staffordshire University with a degree in software engineering, Corns, worked for Microtrading as a software developer and graphic designer.

  • VINCE Graham has been appointed forecast manager for CAP Commercial Monitor. With 26 years in the automotive retail sector, 16 of them developing retail van sales operations, Graham brings a wealth of market experience to the role. He began his career selling cars and enjoyed 10 years of success with Volvo, Seat and Citroen, the franchise which saw his transition into light commercial vehicle sales.

    After developing a highly successful van sales operation with David Fox Citroen in Harrogate, he developed LCV retail strategies for dealerships specialising in Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz.

  • JAMES Davis has been promoted to group commercial vehicle manager at Manheim Auctions. He rejoined the company in May 2004 after spending time at Lex Transfleet and Royal Bank of Scotland. His new role will see him working closely with vendors and buyers to ensure further growth within Manheim’s LCV, HGV and plant sectors.

  • LOGISTICS group CAT has made Stuart Warren managing director of its UK subsidiary, CAT UK Services. Warren was previously regional operations director and before that business development director for CAT Group in Paris. He had also worked for Exel for 20 years.

  • MERCEDES-Benz of Scarborough has made Ashley Cooper its general manager.

    Having qualified as a precision engineer, Cooper initially joined Pavilion Garage in Scarborough as a trainee salesman. He then moved to Parish’s and then to Malton, as sales manager of the VW/Audi dealership.

    After leaving Malton, Cooper spent 10 years in Germany, supplying vehicles to the British military, before taking on the management of a large franchise dealer in Reading.
