Green deal

SUPERMARKET giant Sainsbury’s is using a zero-emission, battery powered vehicle for home deliveries in London.

The retailer is using a Faraday model produced by Smith Electric Vehicles. It is exempt from the London congestion charge and has a top speed of up to 50mph and a range of up to 120 miles between battery charges.
