Diesel C70 offers corporate tax appeal

VOLVO’S C70 coupe-convertible range has grown with the arrival of a diesel-engined version aimed specifically at company car drivers.

Powered by the familiar 2.4-litre five-cylinder unit, the D5 produces 177bhp and is offered with a Geartronic six-speed automatic gearbox as standard. It offers up to 38.7mpg and CO2 emissions of 193g/km.

Volvo’s corporate sales and leasing manager John Wallace said: ‘The D5 is a convertible which makes complete sense for the corporate market. The tax-efficient D5 engine means we can expect even stronger demand for the C70.’

Prices range from £29,420 to £33,170.
