HONDA has strengthened its Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team within the corporate sales department with two new appointments.

Dale Fullerton joins as SVO sales manager. He will work with the police, fire and ambulance services and will be responsible for helping grow the business. Suzy Pye is the new SVO executive responsible for office-based support for operations.

She will ensure a smooth transition from order to conversion and delivery. Fullerton joins from a background in public sector sales while Pye joins from a dealership.

The SVO team is responsible for sales of specialist vehicles with models such as the CR-V to emergency fleets and the new Civic Hybrid. Fullerton and Pye will report to Helen Ward, Honda’s leasing manager.

Carol Tennant has also joined as leasing manager responsible for leasing company accounts. She joins from Zenith Vehicle Contracts, where she was purchasing manager. Tennant has more than 10 years’ motor industry experience and will report to Shaun Wootton, manager, leasing and contract hire.

Wootton said: ‘Following Carol Tennant’s appointment we now have four dedicated leasing employees making it the largest manufacturer employed leasing team in the UK.’
