Fuel tax freeze

CHANCELLOR Gordon Brown has frozen fuel tax as the situation in the Middle East worsens.

Fuel duty will remain at 213.8p a gallon in September and The Treasury will review the situation at the end of the year. Fuel prices have climbed towards the £5 a gallon mark following the conflict in Lebanon.
