GARY Stevenson has joined Nidd Vale Saab, part of the Harrogate-based Nidd Vale Group, as sales manager. Stevenson started his career as sales manager at Nidd Vale Motors 22 years ago and then worked for a number of dealerships before moving into sales management in 1990. Prior to that, he was sales manager for Chrysler Jeep in York.

Fleetview takes on new recruit

VEHICLE tracking group Fleetview has recruited Ian Morris as field services engineer responsible for maintaining customer fleets and quality assurance of electrical installation in vehicles.

He joins Fleetview with more than 25 years’ experience as a City & Guilds qualified auto electrician working at groups such as Leyland Test Centre, Leyland and Curfoots.

Morris said: ‘My new role is a challenge but I am enjoying meeting different fleet managers and passing on my knowledge of the motor industry to Fleetview’s apprentices.’

Morris is the latest recruit to join Fleetview after it announced plans to recruit 10 additional staff over the next 12 months.

Technical director back

FORMER Drive & Survive technical director Mark Edwards has rejoined the company as head of training. He joins from advanced driver training group IAM, where he worked for three years in various management roles. He will be responsible for quality control and product development, as well as managing and developing field-based trainers.
